Investment Banker’s View of the Wealthiest 1% of Americans

A cynical view of the how the very wealthy operate in the American economic system, written by an investment banker with multi-millionaire clients. Unsurprisingly, it is designed and held in place by those occupying the top echelon of wealth in order that they may stay there. I was a little surprised to read that, according to one wealthy client:

Since I knew she held a critical view of investment banking, I asked if her colleagues talked about or understood how much damage was created in the broader economy from their activities. Her answer was that no one talks about it in public but almost all understood and were unbelievably cynical, hoping to exit the system when they became rich enough.
