This is very simple and unsurprising, but I hadn’t thought of it. Make sure not to let children think they perform well due to natural talent; congratulate them on their hard work. They’ll later take on more challenges, and work harder to improve themselves. Keep it up, and I bet they’ll make smarter, harder-working adults.
